Carpenter

Goodwin William Staffing is looking for experienced Carpenters to join our team/work with one of our clients near Staunton, VA.

Primary Job Duties:

• Proven experience with overall carpentry work.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials and tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.).
• Measuring, shaping, and cutting plastic, wood, fiberglass, and other construction materials throughout the project.
• Layout and framing of various buildings and structure
• General understanding of construction practices and safety procedures.
• Perform basic carpentry work such as driving nails/screws, painting, sanding, etc.

Position: Temp-to-hire

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE

Typical Work Schedule:

• 6:00AM to 4:00PM
• Monday – Thursday, Some Fridays, and occasional Saturdays
  

• Good understanding of basic math for layout of overall frame construction.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Steel toe boots and jeans are required.
• No shorts.
• Any additional safety equipment we will provide.
